4. Provide support to vulnerable groups of community people to prepare for possible disaster and to help meet their basic needs through relief and rehabilitation program when disasters affect their lives.

5. Grow organizational capacity to support in stabilizing, strengthening and escalating the program in a wider range to ground the vision.

Cyclone 'Aila', packing winds up to 100 kph, flung itself to the exposed Khulna coast on Monday, leaving at least eighteen dead, and over 500 missing; livestock washed away; crops damaged; The government said five people have died so far in the cyclone in Bhola and Potuakhali districts.Of them, three died in Char Fashion in Bhola and one each in Baufal and Galachipa in Patuakhali district, disaster management minister Abdur Razzaq said at a press briefing in Dhaka.

1.A team comprising Fh staff, Scout volunteers and a leader of Ujjibitopran will move to Shamnogor of Satkhir Districtt by tommorrow to distribute. Currently we estmated that we cam serve 1000 dirreha patients by providing Rice and normal ORS and and 1500 families by providing water purification tablets.

2. A technical assessment team visited Improve Cooking Stove Program of WDP at Gaibandha on 8th May, 2009 to study feasibility of lunching new environment friendly program in response to some donors commitment to support. 3. Old text books were collected from different schools with a view to distribute among children who could not afford.

4. An assessment team selected children for sponsorship for 2009 after home visits of applicants in Dhaka slam area.

5. Education Sponsorship Program has introduced in a School in Dhaka City on 14th February providing text books and tuition fees.

6. Emergency Medical Support program has started in central child hospital (Dhaka Shisu Hospital) to provide assistance for children patients’ of poorest family in critical condition those who can not afford essential medication and under the risk of death. The organization is now committed to provide support to the hospital with certain amount of money per month from March under an agreement sign on the 4th March.

7. Strategic Planning Workshop was held outside of Dhaka on 21st March, 2009. All most all Executive Committee members were participated in the event and develop a Strategy Paper to organization. This strategy paper will help organization to grow and extend its services wider level.

1. Start Family support Program from June 2009 organizing targeted ultra poor families members of sponsored children to provide appropriate vocational training and then capital support for Income Generating Activities to sustain their lives using Jakat fund.
